Eilean Donan Castle
Dornie, Scotland. The first part was built in the mid-13th century & partially destroyed following a Jacobite uprising in 1719. This castle on Loch Duich in the Western Highlands near Dornie, Scotland, was reconstructed in the early 20th century. It is the seat of the clan MacRea, & is well worth the visit.
