Ah memories, in the 80's I started working as an assistant photographer and we had one of those, had the motor dive on it with the shoulder slung long battery pack.

Nikon FtN. My first Nikon, but far from my last. I loved that camera, but it was a little more beat up through good use (if you call beating it up "good use") than yours. But that camera took everything I could throw at it and kept right on going. I hope it's still out there getting used and being loved by somebody. Sold it to by my F2AS. I still have that one.

What a wonderful thing to say. "he believed in me before I did." I still have most of my film cameras but am ashamed to say I haven't shot a single frame in over 3 years. They are "collectibles" now, although I exercise the shutters on a regular basis. A shame to let them sit idle really.

Yeah I had trouble switching to digital. It didn"t seem like photography. Too easy. Then I decided a camera is just a camera. Nothing in it until you put it there.
