Stonehenge Sunset
Submitted to Photo Challenge: Silhouettes
On a sunset tour of Stonehenge, I snapped this shot of my one and only walking away from the stones. While I love the sparkling, dewy grass, the symmetrical lens flare and the faint indication of moss on the rocks, this photograph is all about the silhouette. Feels like a book cover somehow.
Probably my greatest triumph in this photo is that the subject hates being photographed, (with or without his knowledge), but when I showed him this shot (after the usual half-hearted indignant protestations against me shooting him on the sly), he absolutely loved it!
