While on a tall ladder, picking these fine, red orbs, I thought to myself, 'self, in your next life when as a teenager you are asked what you want to be doing when you are 70, pick your words a bit more carefully.' Oh well, pie is good too.

Oh the fantasies of youth! ;-) J has 5 pies made up and in the freezer, another one saved for next week, and a cobbler cooling now, will have it for dinner. The tree is about 2/3's picked.

I love this sight! so so so good. I think I like to be like you, OC when I grow up, just having a good time picking orbs for the wife to bake. Then drinking Folgers coffee and enjoying life......I think I'm in a dreamy mood now after seeing this photo. It shows this is a great capture, OC. Save some for me....
