This shot speaks to me of JPGer Antonio Lovison (Lowison) and Adriana's deep family roots in Padova and the importance of home and family. Also this photo represents the only time Antonio and I captured the same subject at the same time (a river reflection in Dolo). Antonio’s image, The Rest of the Evening, is clearly different from mine, punctuating the fact that no matter how much our work can be influenced by photographers we admire, our photos, if we’re true to ourselves, convey our unique perception of moments in time through the lens of a camera and how we choose to edit those images.
Please read essay. This one really means a lot to me and I'd love to share it with all of you. Thanks.
In the From Awestruck Fan to Friendship photo essay.

• This is absolutely gorgeous Deborah. I think all forms of art are captured differently, if you get 10 artists to portray the same thing you will get 10 different interpretations and that is what makes art interesting and enables us to enjoy each artist’s particular observations!

This, I think is a very special photo. I love your caption and it is truly a great eye opener. Sometimes our work or photos can resemble someone's not because it was intentional imitation but due to some unconscious influences that person might have. Therefore, it should be considered a compliment and treated as such.

And as family roots are spread throughout generations, so too are the reflected branches sharing, and extending their beauty for countless JPGers to admire and reflect upon. Well done Deb.
