A striking lady that demands your attention. Her gaze is very intriguing! Unfortunately, so does the bright-saturated red hat. If you could just crop off the top part of the hat, for me, it would lessen the dominance of the red hat and her character would be more noticeable. I’m talking just about one inch above the headband. If I adjust my monitor’s positioning, this image gets so much more intense! Please, at least look at it like this. Additionally, look up the work of Irving Penn and William Klein. They took lots of photographs of women in hats that are amayzing! Don’t get me wrong…this one works, but I honestly believe it is more powerful with more of the lady and less of the hat…
