That Night and the Dress
I believe that this photo captures a certain conflict concerning gender and sexuality in today's society. The model in this photograph is clearly female. Yet the boyish haircut, challenging gaze and posture do not allude to sexual promiscuity, despite the revealing the dress. This contrast allows her to remain rather androgynous; a creature perching in a tree rather than a woman exposing herself, for although half her chest is revealed, she is not by society's standards, a "sexkitten".
