This time of year a lot of the hill towns are having or are about to have one of their yearly festivals. As Antonio (JPGer Lowison), Adriana, and I wandered the lanes of Montalcino we came across colorful festival preparations. Though we enjoyed our visit there, it was our happening upon Sant' Altimo that was the greatest highlight of our touring together. Not only did we get to relish the beauty of this abbey's 12th century Romanesque church, but the heavenly sounds of musicians performing inside. One of those goose bump spiritual moments none of us will forget.

So beautiful! Wonderful entry! The reflection of the sky on the windows makes it seem that Heaven is inside those walls.
