'M-S Smith' (Smitty)
Taken in the 80s aboard my ship U.S.S. Francis Hammond. During the first 3 months you have to work in the galley. I was fortunate to work in the officers galley, the food was much better there.
One day during heavy seas, I was serving our OPS Lieutanant and spilled a whole bowl of soup on him, his lap and he was wearing his dress white uniform... OMG I was so embarrassed and he never let me serve soup to him again.
Plus all the other officers including the captain would always move very far away when I served them...(only giving me a hard time) and everyone would laugh...I miss my ship
