Why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin..St. Matthew 6:28

Some of our Red Apache Day Lilies just opened
up this morning. I realized after I shot my self portrait,
I should not have been wearing the same shade of
red as the flower that I am holding. After I reviewed
the results, I went back in the house to exchange my top for a white blouse, but then decided to post the imperfect picture that I first shot today after all, that I liked the best for the natural expression:)

What matters in expression
Is showing peace within.
Apache Lilies do not toil,
In the garden soil
To catch a good impression.
Nor do they choose
When a flower grows
To wear their clothes
And shoes
To match and blend.

That's a beautiful red on both your blouse and the Apache Lilies! We can still see the one that is not against your blouse. I think this is a beautiful SP Andrea : )

Thanks all...Yes, Joerg, I did finally get my Nikon 40 DX back to me yesterday afternoon....It broke down on June 9th and it was a long wait to have it repaired. I am learning how to use it all over again as there is a big difference between the Nikon camera and my old Kodak that I used in the meanwhile.
