Christo Rey Necklace
Another accidental capture. Jackie acted first by saying that this looked pretty, which is code for "gimme the camera", while I drove down the freeway! I do admit I got nervous with the Nikon hanging out the passenger window! The hill on the left is Mt. Christo Rey, where a 60 foot cross marks the accepted place where El Paso, Texas, Sunland Park, New Mexico, and Cd. Juarez, Mexico all meet. The train you see across the base hugs the international border from western New Mexico before it crosses into El Paso, always staying within a mile of the border.
