Bangladesh is a riverine country filled with abundant fields of greenery. Despite it's infamy as the 'corruption' or 'flood' capital of the world, my country is made up of many hard working individuals who toil day and night to make ends meet. Farmers, undoubtedly some of the most hardworking citizens of this land, are often seen carrying bales of freshly cut crops to their houses in the harvesting season. Age is trivial for well toned, healthy elders like Md Abdul Karim seen here. At 80yrs of age, he still tows over 50kgs of rice-harvest through a path stretching 4kms to the nearest village.
Too bad this beautiful country is often identified in negative light, for which only a small minority is to blame.
