A Heavenly Moment in Tuscany

Shortly after Antonio (JPGer Lowison), Adriana (his wife), and I finished touring the Tuscan village of Montalcino, we happened upon Sant’ Altimo, a gorgeous abbey founded in the 9th century. Much of the original structure is gone, but its Romanesque church, built in the 12th century, stands proud and is as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside. We had the great pleasure of discovering a group of talented musicians performing inside the church, producing sounds that brought on chills of pleasure. While still feeling a natural high from that music I captured this shot of Sant’ Altimo and view of Montalcino.
