This photograph was taken behind the scenes of the annual Amsterdam(The Netherlands) Gay Pride. What sets this Pride Parade from the others around the world is the fact that the "parade" actually takes place in the gorgeous canals of Amsterdam City. This particular photograph shows the preparation of one particular boat in the early morning - leather-clad men and women(not in photo), helping each other dress or undress, polish leather gear etc before boarding the boat.
For me, social circles are bound by unique sets of norms and values, as these men and women are, by their love of leather, besides the fact that they are gay, bisexual or just gay-friendly.
