It was hot and muggy today and a severe storm is predicted in the forecast later tonight. I decided to do a scenic view on my self portrait. The trusty old Farmall tractor makes a good backdrop.

garden is small...My husband dug it up by hand...Richard, the

wardrobe & hats that I wear are mostly finds that I have bought at yard sales through the years and I don't necessarily look for things that are in style but what looks stylish. I don't go to as many of these sales anymore as I am trying to downsize my closet:) Joerg, I probably would break my leg trying to get up on the tractor seat in my hurry before the self timer went off ...

Eithne, we own 41 acres but a lot of it is in trees...The vegetable

garden this year was smaller than usual because of it being a cool summer so we didn't plant too much...We don't plant sweet corn anymore because the raccoons demolish it before it even gets ripe...Electric fences don't even keep them out. We just planted tomatoes, green peppers and zucchini's this year.
