Sakai, Oishi, and Endo gardens
3 families have farmed roses and carnations here for 100 years. All operations ceased in 2003. The property is now being considered for "Historical Landmark" status.

very cool. to me, this looks like the set of cool hand luke. an old prison camp. except i do see the top of the greenhouse now, so never mind....

Wow...interesting place.. I think all old places like this should be saved, but not restored....I'm biased on the old delapidated.

@JHB: I'm torn on restoration.. on on hand, I love to see places "untouched", exactly as they were left. Old boots, paper still on the ground, coffee cans, etc.. On the other hand, when restored to their exact place in time, it's as if the people never left and you're transported back to a time when whatever structure thrived.
