Long shutter image of a waterfall outside of Meshanticut Lake in Cranston, RI. Meshanticut is a Narragansett Indian word meaning "place of woods".
This photograph was part of a project for the Greater Providence Photography Group. The group meets every other Tuesday for a few beers and assigns a new project at every meeting.
Compare this image to my entry in the Ripple Effect theme. That photograph is a stop motion (1/1250 second) exposure of the same waterfall.
Nikon D200 with a Nikon 70-300mm VRII lens @ 95mm f/32 ISO 100 1/4 sec. No photoshop manipulation.
