Lost My Head Over You
I almost didn't post this shot taken at Prato Della Valle, the enormous piazza within the Italian city of Padova (near Venice), because I had to crop the head of the one statue to get the lines I wanted. But decided you might get a kick out of it, plus enjoy the rest of the shot.

What strikes me is all the modernization around all the ancient statuary!

It is an interesting photo. Too bad the head had to go, but I don't think it diminished the photo at all : )

Some of the world's great statues have bits of their anatomy missing so this is most definitely not a fault.Beautifully composed/cropped it has great detail.I also like the inclusion of the figures to give a sense of scale.Nice work!!!

The arches and symmetry are so wonderful. Gorgeous capture. The statue plays a minor roll in this shot, so the cropped head is hardly noticeable.

I like this very much...The picture is interesting of the activity that you caught in juxtaposition with the statues that are mobile.
