One thing that amazed me when a large ship like ours arrived or departed a port was how many smaller vessels were need to help. I was just barely able to catch a shot of this pilot boat as it sped past.

The photo was taken in the late afternoon as our ship (MS Westerdam) departed Port Everglades.
