The view from Mt. Roberts, looking down on the Gastineau Channel in Juneau, Alaska. I took this shot with my small Canon Powershot because I didn't want to get my DSLR wet!

Many of the modern point and shoots are amazingly powerful instruments. Beautiful shot by yours, obviously. I always carry a plastic bag in my back pocker for emergencies when in the field.
