This photo was created when my first DSLR Nikon D40, passed away and was the last photo it ever took due to an error with the shutter blinds.

Did you attempt to have it repaired? My D40 got sand in the shutter and Nikon was able to repair it.

I loved my Nikon D40X but it too had an error with the shutter blinds when it gasped its last breath...After getting it repaired once before I put it to rest. but it was a good camera. You got a stunning shot with the green and black really standing out.
