I was fascinated by the texture of this leaf. it made me feel as if I'm looking at a satellite map grid. so much details to look at .. I'll try it in B&W and see how it looks like

    B&W could maybe work if contrast heighten intensely. Worth the experimentation.

    I reckon you should recolour it to match Ordnance Survey colours or whatever your equivalent is!
