Looking down from the Eiffel Tower, I thought this view captured the feel of Paris perfectly. From the skyscrapers in the distances to the beautifully sculpted and manicured area by the river, the crowded urban architecture in between and the contrasting calmness of the Seine; throw in a carousel with a starry blue top and the idea is complete. Busy, boisterous, tailored and expansive, the city looks orderly and intimidating, but there's always that little sparkle here and there to let you remember not to take things too seriously.
