There it is! Frontside rock?

Jussi Leinonen said (19 Jul 2007):
Whoa! Good job on the composition and please tell the rider that's one of the sickest fs rock styles I've seen. That's the way it should be done. Maybe you could have done better with finishing, the skater glows a bit on the edges.. Cool!

I have to say, out of the million skateboard pictures I've seen, they all leave me cold and look alike... until this one. Finally, someone has taken a skateboard picture unlike all the rest. I love the position of the skateboard on the left.

Everything is at the right place, the style is sick and that curb is YUMMY! I wanna kiss it and caress it! Wonderful capture.

this photo is sick. sick trick, perfect form. bystander for balance. great comp. damn, that shit is layed out.

Jim Stephenson said (13 Sep 2007):
I agree with David Paone, most of the hundreds of skater pics in this theme don't do much for me - but this one is great. The composition, with the guy in the background, is fantastic. Got a little but of a glow around the edges, but it doesn't distract from a great pic!

how many skateboarders does it take to screw in a light bulb?.....one, but it takes a thousand tries. HA! would have been a great shot if you didn't Photoshop the hell out of it, now it just looks really fake. and to everyone else who commented on this..... go drink some Starbucks coffee, read People magazine, shop at Wal-mart/Target, and die slow like the rest of corporate America.
"freestyle rolling" is way more buck than skateboarding will ever be, and they will never sell out -

I love the composition. it would have been good with just the skater doing the trick, but i really like how the other guy is in the background. that adds a lot, i think.
