Known today most commonly by the name Shiprock, the 1700-foot eroded volcanic plume is sacred to the Navahos as Tse Bi dahi, or the Rock with Wings.It's isolate placement on the upper northwest corner of New Mexico makes it even more spectacular .

    Love it and i'm saving it,, best view I've seen of Shiprock! Spent 5 years out there in Farmington back in the late 70's. Love the area!! Love the people!!
