I agree with Gigi, there's just something about this image. It reminds me of some of the classic architecture magazine images. Very clean and simple yet grabs your attention. Nice work.

It takes a second or two to register what kind of unlikely neighbors these poor folks have. Suggested title: Zoning Nightmare on Elm Street

Nice capture. This reminds me of an 1950s middle-class home. I almost expect the dad to come out any minute and fire up the charcoal grill. What kind of filter did you use for this? I want to get one!

Between the refinery and array of power lines, this is quite a shot.

Well done. The architecture of the mundane, a working class home with work-place encroaching: neat, precise, well-kept house in a neat, precise, well-seen frame.

What strikes me is the content. It leaves me wanting to know who, if anyone lives there? So bare is the yard and the porch. Like a makeshift home for a graveyard shift worker hired by the intrusive factory in background; the factory that created jobs and homes. Reminds me of a petrochemical town called Pasadena, Tx. Houses backed up to toxic gas coming from the many, many oil, gas & chemical plants. Just driving through on the highway made you want to hold your breath because the smell was noxious.
A great shot for the subject- Economy ! -

Beautiful shot - especially w/ those shadows on the front of the dwelling. There the potential for a good photo essay here.
