The Path of Life,
is filled with pain.
We pretend to pray,
yet project disdain.
The distance seems blurry,
with hope left behind.
We veer off this path,
so much in a hurry,
to worry and scurry,
afraid what we'll find.
We return to this path,
expecting some wrath,
and find our old home,
and come to accept,
we're never alone.
This path we re-find,
is here to remind,
that life's so much better,
one step at a time.
