Please feel free to share any info about this neat spider - it is very communal - has lots of relatives and have these eggs sac that look like beads on a string (I am guessing egg sacs) and it lives on my holly bush along with its numerous kin. This was about 8:30 a.m. so it was having a hearty breakfast...;-)

UPDATE: This is a Venusta Orchard Spider! Thanks for those hints that led me to the answer!!

I am wondering if it could be a comb footed spider judging by the shape of its legs...According to my Reader's Digest Guide to 2,000 plants and Animals: "A comb spider has a large abdomen, front of body small; thin legs; hangs upside down on a ragged web." Nice shot by the way!

Oh I am so glad you found what species this spider is..There were so few spiders listed in the Reader's Digest Guide that I looked at...Insect photography is very interesting.
