There is a distinct way to life growing up in Brooklyn, and Coney Island being part of it is an understatement. The doors to the Amusement life that was Coney Island, finally closed this past August. Losing Coney Island the way it was is definitely going to be an impact to the generations that experienced it through its better years, including myself, where much of my childhood was spent.
