My friend Lala owns a nice mobile phone shop in a little town in east Gujarat.
At the 2nd floor (that is about as high as buildings get there) it looks over the busy traffic circle.
This improvised cubicle at the back of the shop is the lab. And it had earns it's name. In more then 100 km radius there is no one else that dares trying to fix a mobile phone himself.
Lala, self educated over the dial up internet connection, had developed a seemingly magician skills, considering the rock basic facility he works out of.
In India a phone costs about a month's worth of an average salary. Wouldn't you come out smiling with your cheerful ringing phone rather then have it hit the trash can?
