The Hardest Shot- Self Portrait
This was the first time I sat down to purposely do a self portrait and I don't know what everyone else thinks, but this was just plain tough.
Every different attempt, every move of my head, every expression, just felt as if the image wasn't capturing who I feel I am.
There were plenty of pics where I felt too pretentious, too serious, not expressive enough to make what I thought was an interesting shot.
It wasn't until I just sat back, relaxed and rested my hands on my head that I felt I had it at least close to what the image should project.
I'm still learning, practicing and loving photography. I should have better self portraits to come...

This is a good one, Mike. Like your decision to use the side light. Adds an air of "mystery".

If I'm anything at all Bruce, it's an International Man of Mystery. Austin Powers has nothing on me! :)
