There was a beautiful old house much like that one in Lexington Park, Maryland when I was a kid. It was behind a field where we lived. We were not supposed to play there but it was supposed to be haunted and you know kids. The fire department burned it down and it was so sad. I wonder where the ghost went. LOL. A beautiful image! A lot of love went into that house at one time.

Wonderful B&W. I love shots of old, deserted houses and barns, but there's a sadness to the images because they were once someone's home. If we only knew the stories! Too bad the house can't be renovated, but I guess it would be too expensive.
