Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

There are so many features of my cameras, that I could not live without, but my favorite is the 28mm to 420mm zoom capability! Macro to Telephoto in one camera makes creating incredible shots without a lens change.

Came across this image today in my portfolio and it reminded me of Susan Littlefields project!! Cool, that this is the largest openpit coppermine in the world, yet; looks miniature in this shot.

Camera Settings:
Shutter 1/320
Aperture f4.6
Focal Length 104.7

The tires alone are 15ft tall.

WOW! I don't know how you did this one, but it is nothing short of amazing!! It absolutely looks like it would be at home on my dining room table, just waiting for the little people to inhabit it. Thanks so much for the dedication, and the link to my work!

my issue is the depth is off...it can't be real. at this distance unless you're using a 5000mm lens, you would have greater dof...hmmmm did digital change things?
