I've been waiting for this album since I've heard the previous one in May 2007. Quite a long waiting and a crazy countdown made with other fans all over the world!
I've been waiting for it knowing it would have been something completely new for Editors. Everytime I read news about it, or heard the new songs live, I've found new reasons to think it would have been epic.
And it is.
It's even more good than what expected.

This album has been described as dark, a dystopic view of future, with an atmosphere that reminds of Blade Runner...and I love so much all this stuff, the classic dystopia-novels, movies inspired by them and P.K. Dick is my sci-fi favourite writer, a genius in my opinion. So, I had really great expectation for "In This Light And On This Evening" and I'm so glad it is such a stunning album.
It's been released today in Italy, will be out on Monday elsewhere in Europe. I'm listening to it in loop, of course!
