    Prickly Pear blooms. You can eat some parts of this but I have never eaten it. I see prickly pear in the grocery stores..The prickles have been removed fo course.

    Had to read up on this one...and apparently you can dice the 'pear' and serve it on top of yoghurt. Not sure if I'm ready to try it. But Pilar a great capture.

    The explorers, Lewis & Clark, were bedeviled by these plants for hundreds of miles along the Missouri River. Kept stepping on them! Oh, super capture!
