This is a great photograph - what is the story behind it?

The history tells that Nakrathundy (black face), serf of a demon, returning of a mission meets Jayanthan (green face), a beautiful warrior, she falls in love with him, and to possess him transforms in a beautiful maiden, Lalitha (yellow face), and she tries to conquer. When he refuses to join she before presenting her to his father, this one appears with his real identity and they fight. Finally, he ends up by cutting the nose, ears and breasts.
The artists spend more than one hour preparing the makeup for the spectacle, and the representation is across the dance and the expression of the eyes. Really it is very beautiful and worth seeing. -
