  Is this CHina beach? I love Point Lobos. My husband and I went to Carmel six summers in a row just to spend every day for a week and a half at Point Lobos. It's a sanctuary to me. We even joined their conservation society. So beautiful. My favorite place in the whole preserve is the Granite Point Trail and over on that right hand side of the whaler's cabin/cove. I want to go again NOW!!! This photo is amazing. It really feels like the world is about to pucker us right up into the middle of her belly!

  Hi Linda, it actually is about 1/2 mile from China Beach, which is gorgeous. Carmel is our favorite place in California, we go there about once a month. Thanks for the kind comments!
