The elevator to ride up the Gateway Arch in St. Louis can't go straight up because the Arch doesn't go straight up. It curves inward all the way to the top. This is what you ride in. As it goes up, you are the counterweight which keeps you sitting straight as if you're riding up a straight line.

Oh yeah, I have got a same one. I used to clean my plasma-shield generator from the stardust after every hyperspace jump. And it is also good for kangaroo egg incubating...... :) :P :)
Ok, what it is? I have been fixing it for 10 minutes, but I have not got any idea. Maybe the black ones are seats. Please let us know the answer!!

LOL @ Gyorgy..too funny! I have it on good authority that it is actually the secret prototype for the Jack in the Box iconic figure. It is mounted on the 'wheel of creation', and although I am absolutely amazed that you not only were able to view and capture the shot, but you got away with your life and camera intact, you did not realize that the wheel was simply turned so that the figure is upside down, making it much more difficult to recognize!! Or, it's an MRI.
