273/365 SP "Snatching Pictures"
If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).

And he shall snatch on the right hand and be hungry..
The skeleton scares
And he also dares
To snatch a Kodak
Moment behind my back.
Today it is raining and I decided to use a SP that I did two days ago. I am reading, "The Land Remembers" by Ben Logan...enjoying the beautiful day sitting on a log when who should sneak up on me but the mean skeleton who not only stole my Kodak Easy Share DX7590 camera on the tripod, but shot my picture besides...How dare he!!! Luckily he had poor eye sight as he didn't see my better camera, the Nikon 40 DX doing a self timer of this entire event and catching the crime in the act:) Notice how hungry this sneaky thief looks..he's nothing but skin and bones!:) Maybe he needs a little Meta (meat) to fatten him up:) I should explain how I put this together. A mannequin head with a skeleton mask is resting on a dress form and I wrapped a scarf around its neck to hold it together. The skeletal gloves are tied on to the jacket with yarn. Luckily the whole thing didn't tip over and fall apart...:) I originally bought the mask to put on my face for a photo shoot but I couldn't stand the latex smell of it..and felt suffocated when I put it on so had to improvise.
