So (long story) I'm driving home from work, around 5:45pm, and I get to the Newport Bridge - 2 miles, no stopping. On the other side I see the most freakin' amazing clouds and light, but there's no way to stop and take a pic.
My apologies to all those I may have cut off as I dashed for the other side, but I got there, stopped at the Jamestown Golf Course (we're still in broad daylight, perfect weather, etc. ) and fire off a few shots. Perfect!
Back in the car, cruise home very happy.
Out with the card, into the 'puter, and I see these dark mushes that look like they were taken at night....
Camera says it's on Manual, 1/4000 (no typo) f/10 - I guess the dials turned when I pulled it out of my backpack..... That was my bunch of Lemons.
The lemonade came from shooting RAW, and P'shop. These are not the most perfect shots of that sky, but I'll take 'em, and happily. ;-)

It was meant to be. Sometimes the most interesting photos were "mistakes" to begin with. Nicely Done!

It is a beautiful capture Steve. A stunning sky. At 1/4000th second and f/10, you were not able to catch a lot of light. A slower Shutterspeed would have let more light in. I love it like this though.
