golfer's mother lode.....re-use, re-cycle
Either the golfers aim on that pipe and think it is the hole or they are just not a good golfer. =)
On weekends, my husband and I take a walk near the golf course and we always end up with pocket full of golf balls. When ever we pick up less balls, my husband would say that the golfers are good.
We accumulated a lot that I told my son if he could research on Ebay and if he could sell it, the proceeds is his.
We don't play golf so we give it away to our friends.
This I think best describe sustainability.....reuse and recycle. I also think giving is better than receiving.
REUSE: means extending the 'life' or re-purposing an item rather than discarding or throwing it away.

My Momma would take those golf balls and glue them together a certain way,add felt ears and google eyes and use a golf tee for a tail and make golf ball dogs. They were always a huge hit! OH before she glued on the eyes tail and ears she gave the whole a fresh spritz of white paint and sometimes she would paint black spots on the dog.So yes reuse and recycle!

Great idea Karen. Too bad that I'm not a crafty one. My elder daughter is. I have it in a big vase on a corner. Whoever comes that play golf, they are welcome to get whatever they want and they leave home happy!

You can get arrested here picking up lost golf balls. I think the golf courses resell them. At least they are reused. Great example of sustainability.
