Photographer Gregory Crewdson setting up a shot in Pittsfield, MA at the corner of Seymour Street and Madison Avenue on July 24, 2007. The camera was shooting west down Madison toward The Madison bar on the corner. The shot was composed of a middle-aged woman in jeans, a blue tank top and flip-flops smoking a cigarette on the curb outside the bar. A car with its tail lights lit was parked on Madison halfway up the hill on the other side of the intersection.
