This great egret bends to take a drink of river water, showing the advantage of having such a long neck. It was on a log in the alligator habitat at the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park. This bird is free.

Beautiful nature scenic and the Egret is such a graceful bird....The neck looks longer than the body....long legs also to get away from the alligators faster.
