I never dreamed when I first signed on to JPG that I would make so many incredible friends. I never knew that so many people that have come together with a passion for photography could cross over that common interest and share so much outside of JPG. I know that I, like many of you, carry each other along on our daily routines. Often, when I watch the news and hear of bad weather in parts of the world, I think of my friends there and wonder if they are safe. I know many of you do that too. When one of us is sick or hurting, the rest of us are there. As I go out into the world each day to explore the things around me, I find things that I know many of you would like to see. I often catch myself capturing things that I would not normally capture but do so with a certain JPG friend in mind. I know many others of us do this as well. I am still amazed at the outpouring of phonecalls, emails, instant messages, and special gifts I have received in the mail. I always knew that there were good people in the world if you looked for them. I think most of them are members of JPG. I can not express how much you all mean to me. You have all made me feel very special and you are all so special to me. You have also touched my husband as well. He has little faith in mankind, but he is learning through my friendships that there are good people out there if you open your heart and let them in. You all have a huge chunk of my heart. Thank you!

I too lost a lot of my faith in people until the loss of both my sister and Gina. There are many wonderful people on JPG including YOU Regenia. Your husband is a great man and both of you are a fantastic couple. We love you and your family. I love the authentic kindess and support from so many people on JPG. I was first introduced to JPG in the men's bathroom, funny, but it's true. A couple of weeks went by before I logged on and signed up. I had no idea at the time that I would gain the friendships and inspirations that I have today. It is people like you that make me look at things in a different way. And you're right, sometimes I find myself saying "hey, so and so would like that." You are a fabulous photographer, but more than that, you are and inspirational person and friend. Thank you Regenia, for all that you have done for me. Guess I'm not speechless anymore! LOL! :)

I love these blossoms...finally got some this year! Lovely image of them too! It was hard to read your message with out the tissues, I have truly grown as a photographer and personally from our jpg neighborhood.We all help each other,and a few go well beyond, and you are one of those! Thank you for that! And thank you, for all you do, and from me, for being my friend, for always answering all my questions and for inspiring me to do the best I can. The friendships here are beyond belief, and I've even found a distant cousin (Betty, above). And my little sister certainly knows how much I think of her.

And what I have come to view as an extra bonus of JPG membership is how many members are beginning to WRITE. Talent usually comes in pairs, threes, or even fours or more. Show me a photographer, and I'll show you someone who paints, designs, plays a musical instrument, sings, writes, or does any number of other things in addition to taking photos. We have a lot of good writers, it seems, including Regenia, and I hope they will continue enhancing their photos and our enjoyment with their excellent narratives.

Regenia, you are an inspiration to us all, and we are so honored to count you among our friends and colleagues. It is a blessing, really. YBB
