    Hi, Bruce. Thank you. I'm brand new to the site. It's my first day here and I'm just learning. About the barbed wire...I'm not sure that's barbed wire. It might be old ties on the wire used to hold the grape vines in place the previous season, before pruning.

    The growers plant mustard in between the vines to add nitrogen to the soil. In late winter, early spring, vineyards explode with color. Lovely shot, this.
