Before shooting his image at the corner of Madison Avenue and Seymour Street in Pittsfield, MA, Gregory Crewdson hired the Pittsfield Fire Department to come out and hose down the street and buildings. They hosed down this street for a good hour or so before the shoot to give it that glistening sheen look that would show up under proper lighting.
