Face of Buddha covered by overgrown roots of a fig tree, Wat Mahathat, Ayutthaya, Thailand
I visited the vast temple complex of Ayutthaya, located 70km north of Bangkok in February and it left a lasting impression.
It was later afternoon when I took this shot, I was tired from the heat, having spent a full day touring the various locations with my brother Peter and our guide.
