"American Power Conversion"

Power conversion-- from the generating windmill on left to electric power lines for distribution on right in Portsmouth, RI. The windmill is visible from miles away, but it's on a steep, ledge-filled road you need a Hummer to traverse!! Locating it was problem # 1; reaching it was problem # 2!

Title drawn in part from a large electronics manufacturer in my home state of Rhode Island-- American Power Conversion [A.P.C.]... http://www.apc.com/index.cfm
Their products have everything to do with the management of electricity and electrical devices, largely for the computer industry.

Wicked cool capture and great for the theme!!!! So did you feel the tingle of the electromagnetic field created there by those high tension lines? ROTF I still think Solar is the way to go.

No, Warren, but I might have felt the cold tingle of a police officer's revolver in my neck... had to overcome a few obstacles to get this hilltop photo... including ledge and "No Trespassing!" signs! :~)
