Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

Really Ford? A billion dollars in profits was a surprise? Really? Does anyone else find it difficult to believe that Ford just discovered a profit of a billion dollars? Because I’m pretty darned sure I’d have an inclination. Gee, I’d like to stay and comment more, but I need to go check the pockets of all my coats… just never know, right?!?!?

I just checked my pockets and found $1.97, maybe if we all pull together we can come up with a billion. In about 50yrs.! I hear where your coming from Susan!

That is one huge box of Nest Eggs Foxy Ford was hiding in that hen house! Well done! This is reflective of the national ire against huge corporate profits. Big bonuses, insane salaries, unbridled greed all have made them bad guys. On the other hand, did you know that Ford was the only auto maker that did not take bail out money? Also, if they are making profits, that could translate into jobs for some of the millions that are out of work. So is Ford a bad guy corporation? Hmmmmm......

Well done photo/pun, got my day started with a good laugh and sarcastic view of the 'change' program presently in place. Warren is correct, Ford earned their profit the old fashioned way by doing it on their own, not standing there with their hand out waiting for the government to use the law to rob me of my hard earned cash so they could 'redistribute to those that didn't have a fair share, or were "to big to fail" ' aaaaargh!

Just read on the newspaper. Sorry, I did not contribute to those earned billion. Oh, wait, actually we did. We used to own a ford windstar at one point. Four years we owned it, and we need to replace the entire engine..

Does Mitsubishi still make Ford? Oh well, a billion here and there, easy as pie to misplace. If only our oil companies could learn to start making a profit, then it will all trickle down to the rest of us, and we could replace our 4 year old Fords with Fords because their engines die (instead of 12 year old Hondas with Hondas because the door panel finally rusted through) and... wait... I do have a billion! It's right here...damn, I'm gonna buy that lens after all.

I think the oil companies are the only ones making a profit at this time. I have a clunker I would love to trade in. I would be cheaper to ride on the chicken. LOL. Terrific one Susan.
