“Change!” [Chris Chalk]
“Aussie Lens” was the B&W, photocopied, 4-page flyer of his small local photography club in Australia before Chris Chalk became editor. In just 15 months he has molded it into a premier, 250-page monthly masterpiece of imagery! Circulation tops 15 million in 37 countries, and it’s printed in 28 languages!
To discover his secrets, we interviewed Chris by telephone… “No mamby pamby, mate! The kangaroo, our national symbol, is often shown boxing; and there’s a lot of that fight deep inside me! They also jump, as ya know, and I keep my staff a hopping the day long, I do! The photo you’ve selected for your cover is entitled ‘Fiery Dragon’, and that’s what staff calls me behind me back… I know it and am rather proud of it, mate!”

I’m humbled with your tribute Rob, thankyou mate! Our Prime Minister just phoned to congratulate me on my new appointment:). He said he’ll speak to President Obama and sort out JPG; so like Obama and his Presidential campaign slogan, it is time for “Change”! As we say down-under “It’s not what ya know, it’s who you know”!....LOL.
